She is currently working towards an internationally recognized qualification as a formulations chemist for personal care.
Mia Belle skincare and haircare products are crafted using ethically-sourced natural and organic ingredients formulated to help bring peace, positivity and health into your life. Ingredients sourced from reputable suppliers within New Zealand, Catherine is mindful of the impact on people and the environment when it comes to ingredient choices, both when formulating products as well as with their packaging and what they use for shipping. Their products are colour safe, cruelty-free, plant-based and fragrances pthalate-free. These products have been designed and created to give our customer an aesthetically pleasing experience for the mind and senses while being mindful of health and well-being and the environment.
Meet the Owner: Catherine
"Mia Belle (my beauty) was inspired by my daughters name Mia Isabelle. I am a down to earth person, a wife and mum of four kids, and am passionate about providing natural and organic products for you to experience.
When as parents we discovered that our own children had allergies and one child had asthma I knew that off the shelf products were not going to cut it. I was shocked to learn that many of those products contained ingredients that were not environmentally sound and could even be potential triggers for asthma sufferers.
So I researched and studied an Essential Oils Business Diploma and I am currently working towards an internationally recognized qualification as a Formulations Chemist for my skin-care and hair-care line of products. Whilst doing this I became aware that many people are also searching for the same thing. They want beautiful products that are not only good for their skin but are natural and organic and good for the environment as well as allergy conscious, cruelty-free and toxic-free. Creating my own line of products meant I am completely in touch with what goes into my products. Products I love to use both for myself and for my family.
I have always enjoyed using natural and organic products wherever possible. As an artist, I love being creative and incorporating art and design into the Mia Belle brand. It brings me a lot of joy to be able to offer my artwork and include it in the Mia Belle product home range. I believe strongly in helping others feel pampered and relaxed and bringing joy. I am fully supportive of self care and de-stressing whilst helping women feel good about themselves and the environment they live in.
