Here's how to make heart-shaped cupcakes, no special pan needed, according to Tastes Better From Scratch:
1. Prepare Cupcake Batter
Follow your preferred cupcake recipe instructions.
2. Place Liners
Place liners in each well of a muffin tin.
3. Place Marbles
Then place one marble at the top of each well between the liner and the pan. This will make an indent in the top of the cupcake that resembles a heart! Don't have a marbles just lying around? Aluminium foil works just fine, which rolls easily into a ball that is exactly the size you need it to be.
4. Add Batter & Bake
Spoon the batter into each liner, filling it no more than halfway. and bake the cupcakes according to the recipe instructions.
5. Frost & Decorate
